Nikki & Den - Thailand
Wedding shoot I did at the beautiful Anantara Golden Triangle Resort in Chaeng Saen, Thailand. The venue overlooks the Mekong River which borders the 3 countries - Thailand, Burma and Laos; hence, the name Golden Triangle. When I got the email from UK asking if I could shoot the wedding, I was thrilled! Who wouldn't be with 4 baby elephants as part of the entourage!
The biggest challenge on this job was the v-e-r-y s-l-o-w internet connection up in the mountains. 2 a.m. I was still uploading so slowly. 5:30 a.m. I was up again uploading as much as I can before my flight back to Bangkok. (I feel more comfortable when the images are online for safekeeping.)

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Thanks for viewing. Sincerely, Anna

Day before the wedding. 2:30 is bath time for the elephants. It was hot (high 90's) couples with high humidity. My cameras were subjected to the constant change of temperature from air conditioned room to outside. My Canon G11, the one that had been subjected the most from my recent trips, finally caved in. Canon Repair Shop's diagnosis: fungus growth inside. (Yaiks!).
